Hiya, I'm a first gen Afghan-American artist from Massachusetts. I studied animation in college and I am pursuing a career in the art world all while grilling at my parent's restaurant. Before I started animating, I primarily focused on producing graphic novels and digital paintings. Now that I have animation in my toolbox, it kind of feels like there's an endless ocean of possibility out there for me and it's pretty unnerving! But I think if I stay open minded and continue to add more skills to my repertoire while polishing the skills I already have, I have the potential to make something worthwhile.  If the visuals in my artwork can evoke an emotion or pull out an old memory, that's a big win in my book. Time feels like it flies regardless of whether or not you're having fun, so I try to make the most of it.
